On our site you will find a wealth of information to support you in your grassroots journey. Myself and others that were young in my times walked this journey alone. I say so as all that was important was my feet, which are the tools of football. However, as I have walked in this journey, I realise that, the main tool for football is my head. I am sure you will all agree, that football is played in the head.

My football journey started when I was 2 years old. I say so with great confidence because I have heard so many stories with reagrds to how and when I began to show the signs of being a footballer. The youngest story I was told was that I had gone to Bournemouth, for a weekend away with my parents and family. I was 2 years old. We went to the rides section and the first thing I grabbed was a ball and could not put it down. I believe the ball was taken away when I went to sleep and was never returned to me. I guess my parents wanted to relax without the two fold worry of worrying about a terrible 2 year old who now has a ball and can not control the ball.

Ever since that day, I have been pursuing the game and will pursue it to perfection.
